What we believe ... about the Lord Jesus Christ.
- His eternal deity: 'Our God and Saviour Jesus Christ' (2 Peter 1v1; Hebrews 1v8)
- His virgin birth and sinless life: 'He did no sin' (1 Peter 2v22; Luke 1v30-35)
- His atoning death: 'Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures' (1 Corinthians 15v3; Romans 5v6-8)
- His resurrection and ascension: 'God ... raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory' (1 Peter 1v21; 3v22)
- His soon return: 'I will come again, and receive you unto myself' (John 14v3; Philippians 3v20)
- His future reign over the earth: 'He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet' (1 Corinthians 15v25; Revelation 20v4-6)
- His judgement of all: 'The Lord Jesus Christ ... shall judge the living and the dead at His appearing' (2 Timothy 4v1; Revelation 20v11-15)
What we believe ... about Salvation from sin.
- Man's total sinfulness: 'All have sinned and come short of the glory of God' (Romans 3v23; Psalm 14v2,3)
- The penalty of sin: 'The wages of sin is death' (Romans 6v23; Ezekiel 18v4)
- Man's inability to save Himself: 'By grace are ye saved through faith ... not of works, lest any man should boast' (Ephesians 2v8,9 Jeremiah 13v23)
- God's remedy in the cross of Christ: 'Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God' (1 Peter 3v18; Isaiah 53v6)
- The need for repentance: 'God ... commandeth all men everywhere to repent' (Acts 17v30)
- The need for faith: 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved' (Acts 16v31)

- A company of baptized believers: 'They that gladly received His word were baptized' (Acts 2v41; 18v8)
- Weekly observance of the Lord's Supper: 'They continued steadfastly ... in breaking of bread' (Acts 2v42; 20v7)
- Regular Bible teaching: 'They assembled themselves with the church,and taught much people' (Acts 11v26; Matthew 228v18-20)
- Urgent gospel preaching: 'with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel' (Philippians 1v27; Mark 16v15)
- Prayer Meetings: 'Prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God' (Acts 12v5; 4v23-31)
